Dr. Marissa L. Martin, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC specializes in child and adolescent mental health. She began her nursing career as an LPN in 2010, earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from Castleton University in 2014, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Dakota in 2015. She continued to advance her career, obtaining a Master's in Nursing from Drexel University in 2019, and later achieving her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the same institution in 2021.
Dr. Martin has extensive experience as a floor nurse and house supervisor from 2014 to 2019. She returned as an Advanced Practical Registered Nurse in 2023, focusing on psychiatric mental health.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Martin is deeply involved in education and mentorship, serving as a preceptor for Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner students. She is also a foster parent.
